Q. Are you registered & insured?
A. Yes.  We are registered in Perth, WA and have full liability insurance to cover any incidental damage to your property or physical damage that your pet may cause to others while in our direct care.  We also have a clean police record, and we can produce a police check upon request.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept cash, cheque, direct deposit and payment online using PayPal if you have a PayPal account.  Please note that cheques and direct deposits must have cleared prior to our first visit. Payments via PayPal can be made to the email address accounts@anaspetsitting.com.au.

Q. Can you provide pet boarding services or sleep at our home while you're caring for our pets?
A. Unfortunately we cannot provide either of these services.  Zoning regulations don't allow boarding of pets in our area, and staying in-home with the pets means that we can only provide care for one pet at per day. We provide a visiting pet care service, whereby we visit your home to feed, play with and look after your pet for a range of visit lengths.

Q. My pet requires regular medication.  Does Ana's Pet Sitting do this?
A. Yes.  We can administer your pets' medication as part of our usual service, with the exception of injections. We'll collect all of the required information from you beforehand to enable us to do this.

Q. What happens if my pet gets sick, escapes or similar while I'm away?
A. We'll have your contact details and will try to contact you immediately.  In this situation, we can arrange veterinary care for your pet at your request - we don't charge any extra to take your pet to the vet, however we require that you reimburse us for the veterinary costs.  Unless we have been negligent, we cannot take responsibility for such occurrences.  We'll collect your vet's details from you before you leave.

Q. Do you perform pet sitting for dangerous animals?
A. We can feed dangerous dogs over or under gates, but we will not put ourselves in danger.  Other potentially dangerous animals (such as snakes) can usually be catered for - please call or email us to discuss this. You must advise us if your animals are likely to pose any danger to us. Please note that under no circumstances will we enter a yard containing any the following breeds, classified as 'dangerous breeds':  English Bull Terrier, Pit Bull Terrier, Argentenian and Brazillian Fighting Dogs or Japanese Tosas.

Q. I'm looking to adopt a pet - do you have any recommendations?
A. We provide foster care for abandoned pets who are looking for homes through SAFE Perth, who regularly advertise pets both young and old for adoption. Please click here for more information.

Q. I'm looking for pet sitting but live in another state. Do you know of any visiting pet sitters that I could contact?
A. We're in the process of building up a network of visiting pet sitters around Australia.
Gold Coast: Gold Coast Pets - In-home pet sitting and dog walking from Pimapma to Coolangatta
Darwin & Palmerston: Top End Kritter Sitters - A personalised home visit pet care service, which offers a great alternative to boarding kennels and catteries.
